  • Polyester Tissue in our boxes (is not TissuTex)

    Posted: February 5, 2012 | by | Filed under: Info |Permalink

If you receive your order and the box contains a white and/or black crumpled up strange tissue material, and you also ordered TissuTex, the crumpled up material is NOT the TissuTex. We’ve had several inquiries about this. TissuTex comes already folded from our supplier in a rectangle about 9″x12″. We put the TissuTex in a plastic bag (all weights together), and it is flat. The crumpled up tissue is left over from an experiment I did last year with various synthetic tissues. It’s actually sold as a synthetic gift wrap tissue (I got it at Nashville Wraps), so I’m using it as a packing material. many customers are using it in creative ways in their projects – that is fabulous! So I put it in the box when I can (depending on packaging and weight). Sometimes I will wrap several things together with a sheet of this material too (I would never do this with TissuTex, ouch!) Anyway, have fun with it!
